Aliyev's Recent Statement Marks the Beginning of an Irreversible Process, Says Armen Gevorgyan Against the Background of Nikol's Secret Visit to Syunik
Former Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Armen Gevorgyan, made a statement on his Telegram page regarding Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev's claim that the establishment of the Zangezur corridor fully aligns with Azerbaijan's national, historical, and future interests, and that after 101 years, the Azerbaijani people will return to Zangezur.
“Aliyev's recent statements about Zangezur, against the backdrop of Nikol's secret trip to Syunik, mark the beginning of an irreversible process. We are talking about the beginning of the loss of national sovereignty. Ultimately, sovereignty can be violated not only physically but also when Armenia does not adequately respond to the aggressive statements of its enemies.
I am convinced that after the Foreign Ministry's announcement yesterday, we did not feel more secure, nor did the lives of the residents of Syunik become safer,” wrote Armen Gevorgyan.
