Armenian Parliament Ratifies Free Trade Agreement Between EAEU Member States and Serbia
The National Assembly of Armenia has ratified the agreement on free trade between the Eurasian Economic Union and its member states, on one side, and the Republic of Serbia, on the other. The agreement was approved with 100 votes in favor, 1 against, and 7 abstentions.
Considering that bilateral free trade agreements had already been signed by Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan with the Republic of Serbia, it was decided to conclude a free trade agreement between the EAEU and Serbia, which will lead to a balanced situation. All EAEU member countries will have equal market access to the market of the Republic of Serbia.
The agreement was signed in Moscow in 2019.
