Nazarbayev Discusses the Turanian Corridor: Will It Pass Through Armenia?
The peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku will allow for the restoration of the Great Silk Road, which will enhance the role of the Caspian Sea. This was stated by Nursultan Nazarbayev at the summit of the Turkic Council of Cooperation.
According to Nazarbayev, this development will open new opportunities for the member states of the Turkic Council to benefit from China’s "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
He added that the Turanian Corridor is becoming the safest and shortest route between Europe and Asia.
