VIDEO: Armenian Artificial Ventilation Devices Ready for Clinical Trials

Armenian manufactured artificial ventilation devices for lungs are fully prepared for clinical trials, certification, and production. This announcement was made by Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan on his Facebook page.

Last year, as part of the government's program, the process of developing artificial lung ventilation devices in Armenia was initiated in collaboration with the Engineering Association.

The presented device is a complex engineering system that entirely constructs a mathematical model of the patient's respiratory apparatus and replaces the respiratory system with necessary volumes through corresponding algorithms.

As a result of collaboration with the American NASA JPL laboratory, five prototypes of the devices are already ready and undergoing testing with the aim of future certification and production.
