Will There Be Resignations in the Ministry of Defense? What Generals Have Said
The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports: 'According to our information, the mornings in the General Staff of the Armed Forces are still not peaceful. The issue is that, based on a court decision, many of the 40 generals who joined Chief of Staff Onik Gasparyan's statement have expressed during various conversations that things cannot continue this way in the Ministry of Defense, and perhaps there will soon be a parade of resignations.
At the same time, some of the generals have stated that there is no alternative; they must stay and continue their service for the sake of the homeland and the army.
As is known, by the Prime Minister's decision, Artak Davtyan has been presented as the Chief of Staff in the Ministry of Defense, but Onik Gasparyan is not giving in. In addition to contesting the decision to relieve him in court, he has also filed a report about a crime with the General Prosecutor's Office.'
