Minister of Defense Meets with Personnel of the MoD's Military Surveillance Service
On March 26, the Minister of Defense of Armenia visited the Military Surveillance Service of the Ministry of Defense and met with the personnel of the service.
General-Lieutenant Jalal Harutyunyan, head of the Military Surveillance Service, reported to the Minister about the work carried out in 2020, the results of inspections conducted by the service, identified deficiencies, and omissions recorded in military units and individual subdivisions.
Issues related to the combat readiness of the troops, rear support, as well as problems concerning armaments and military technology were presented, along with proposals aimed at addressing the identified shortcomings.
The Minister of Defense highly appreciated the role of the Military Surveillance Service in strengthening the combat readiness of the armed forces and implementing reforms. During the conversation with the service's personnel, Vagharshak Harutyunyan emphasized the necessity of developing military science in the process of restoring, rearming, and modernizing the armed forces in the post-war period, noting that comprehensive measures will be taken in this direction to organize personnel policy in the armed forces more effectively.
