Minimum Wage Will Be Set at 320,000 Drams

Starting from this July, a new Patrol Service will be launched in Yerevan. The government has approved the minimum salary rates for patrol service officers. Remaining committed to the promise made during the recruitment announcement for service trainees back in 2020, this decision establishes a minimum calculated salary of 320,000 drams (with taxes, 245,000 drams).

This approach to compensation aims to ensure the effective resolution of the challenges faced by the newly established service and to enhance the attractiveness of the new service. The patrol units, which assist citizens, maintain public order, and prevent crime, will contribute to a growing sense of legality and security in society, as well as an increase in public trust in the police.
