Dmitry Peskov Comments on Kocharyan's Announcement to Participate in Elections
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has spoken about Robert Kocharyan's announcement regarding his desire to participate in the elections and run for the position of Prime Minister of Armenia.
"Participants in the political process in Armenia do not need to coordinate their actions with the President of Russia. This is a ridiculous formulation of the question. Robert Sedrakovich himself is a great friend of Russia and a staunch supporter of benefits for Armenia. Overall, we can state with satisfaction that the overwhelming majority of political figures in Armenia are in favor of further strengthening relations with Russia," Peskov stated.
