VIDEO: How five Shiraz prisoners arrived in Yerevan
Five servicemen are currently at the Muratsan Hospital. They have already undergone initial medical examinations, and their relatives can visit them now.
Today, five prisoners from Azerbaijan returned home on a Russian aircraft. All five are part of a group of 62 servicemen from Shirak province.
The video shows five men in black suits disembarking from the plane under the escort of law enforcement officers and boarding a bus. They are all wearing masks and walk with a balanced and calm demeanor.
The servicemen are now at the Central Clinical Hospital (Muratsan) in Yerevan and have already undergone primary medical assessments, allowing their families to visit them.
The returned prisoners are 47-year-old Edik Harutyunyan, 47-year-old Seyran Matevosyan, 44-year-old Karen Vardanyan, Armen Nazramadyan, and Ashot Varosyan. They are part of the group of 62 servicemen captured from Shirak province.
It is noteworthy that criminal cases have been initiated against the 62 servicemen in Azerbaijan.
Recall that on December 16, 2020, it became known that 62 servicemen were captured from several combat positions located in the directions of Hin Tagher and Khtsaberd villages, all from the Shirak province. Today, five of them have returned home, while three have spoken with their parents on the phone.
