High-Risk Groups to Be Vaccinated First in Armenia, Experts Estimate 10% of Population

In Armenia, a contract for the procurement of vaccines is already in place, as announced by Gayane Sahakyan, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health during a press conference.

Initially, high-risk groups will be vaccinated, which experts estimate to be about 10% of the population. Negotiations for vaccine procurement are ongoing with both Russian and Western companies. According to Gayane Sahakyan, the first batch of vaccines is expected to arrive in the republic by mid-February.
