Edmon Marukyan: As a result of those meetings, equipment was brought in days ago and 14 bodies were retrieved
According to my information, the heads of the National Security Services of Armenia and Azerbaijan discussed issues of prisoners of war and territories during their meeting at the border. This was stated today by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the LHK parliamentary group, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly.
“I also do not understand the approach of the people or the media. If we have to meet 100 times to find and bring back one prisoner of war, then so be it. If we need to meet another 100 times to discover another fraternal grave where our soldiers are buried by the Azerbaijanis, to bring in equipment and retrieve the bodies of these individuals, we should meet 100 times more. You know that as a result of those meetings, days ago, equipment was brought in and 14 bodies were retrieved. The media says there are 14 bodies, but it is actually 14 bags, and with DNA tests, we will find out how many bodies there are. We must do everything necessary. If needed, I am also ready to go and meet,” he said.
