Driver Crashes into Ministry of Defense Administrative Building After Breaking Entrance Doors
On January 10, around 21:30, a resident of Kotayk Province, identified as G.V., crashed his personal vehicle, a "VAZ 2107," into the gates of the Ministry of Defense's administrative complex's checkpoint, breaking them and gaining access to the complex.
Subsequently, G.V. crashed into the entrance doors of the administrative building and drove into the structure.
G.V. was arrested by officers of the Ministry of Defense's Border Unit who were on duty at the checkpoint. The materials related to the incident have been transferred to the Yerevan division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 327.6 (Part 5) and Article 258 (Part 4) of the RA Criminal Code.
Notice: The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court decision that has entered into legal force, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
