Pashinyan Signs Statement with Aliyev Today Without Securing Guarantees for Prisoners and Missing Persons
Pashinyan failed to fulfill yet another promise. Today, he signed a statement with Aliyev without securing any guarantees regarding the fate of prisoners and missing persons. This was reported by the mediaport Telegram channel.
Meanwhile, in his Facebook post on January 8, Pashinyan mentioned as a priority the full exchange of prisoners, hostages, and other detained persons, as well as the bodies of deceased individuals. Additionally, Pashinyan's spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan wrote yesterday: “For the Armenian side, the issues of the return of prisoners, the search and rescue operations for our soldiers who have remained behind the Azerbaijani lines, the discovery of the bodies of the deceased, and clarifying the fate of the missing is fundamental and principled. Without resolving these issues or making significant progress, it will be extremely difficult to effectively discuss the economic agenda, and the Armenian side considers this issue one of the key topics for the Moscow meeting.”
In fact, the Prime Minister of Armenia humbly executed yet another document laid before him, without even a right to voice.
