Entry to Jrvayj Forest Park and All Paid Services to Become Free
The entry to Jrvayj Forest Park and all paid services within its territory will become free. This was announced by the Ministry of Environment of Armenia.
“Considering the current economic situation in the country, the quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the state of emergency, the entrance to Jrvayj Forest Park, which falls under the jurisdiction of the ‘Protected Areas Complex’ State Non-Commercial Organization, as well as all previously paid services, will henceforth be free,” the statement noted.
It is worth reminding that, previously, there were certain fees charged for filming movies, music videos, and wedding photo shoots within the forest park area. Now, citizens will not be charged any fees for entry or any services.
According to another decision, entry to the forest park area by vehicles is prohibited.
