Tat Evik Revazyan on Ryanair's Decision Not to Operate Flights to Armenia
168.am reported today that, according to its sources, the airline Ryanair has decided that it will no longer operate flights to Armenia. It is difficult to ascertain the reasons behind the suspension of these flights. Perhaps the cause is that the government can no longer subsidize the airline, or maybe due to the severe social conditions in the country, negotiations with the airline have become untenable.
In an interview with ArmDaily.am, the head of the Civil Aviation Committee, Tat Evik Revazyan, stated that such reports are false. "Stay tuned to our website; a denial will be available shortly. I cannot respond to everyone right now," she said.
