VIDEO: Police Discover Large Cache of Weapons and Ammunition Brought from Artsakh in Syunik

The officers of the Main Directorate of Criminal Police, the Regional Police Department of Syunik, and the Sisian Division conducted a check on a 37-year-old man returning from Artsakh at the 190th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, acting on operational information.

In the vehicle, police discovered two factory-numbered grenade launchers, grenades, projectiles for the grenade launcher, thermal vision and optical devices, a factory-numbered hand machine gun, a factory-numbered Kalashnikov assault rifle, two pistols, ammunition clips, over 1200 cartridges of various firearms and calibers, military gear, communication devices, and more. The seized weapons and ammunition have been confiscated.

The police continue their operations to prevent illegal transportation of weapons and ammunition from Artsakh.
