Red Market Continues to be Targeted: Another Civilian Killed

The Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, reports that Azerbaijani armed forces have continued targeting the civilian population.

“During the night, Azerbaijan continued to target the community of Martuni's Red Market, using 'Smerch' cluster bombs. As a result, another person has been killed. There is also one wounded,” Beglaryan wrote on his Twitter page.

He also reported that there are already a total of 34 casualties among civilians, as well as two prisoners executed.

As previously reported, on the night of October 15-16, especially at dawn, the enemy opened intense fire using artillery towards the city of Martuni and the village of Red Market, and in the morning towards the Berdashen community. The villages of Togh in the Hadrut region, Tigranavan in the Kashatagh region, Aygehovit, and Aghavno have also been shelled.
