Nikol Pashinyan Holds Phone Conversation with Justin Trudeau
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, continues his phone conversations with foreign counterparts. According to the Armenian government, today the Prime Minister had a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.
During the call, Pashinyan provided details about the ongoing military operations in Artsakh and the overall situation in the region. Attention was drawn to Turkey's destructive involvement in the military operations and the unacceptable ambitions of that country to establish itself in the South Caucasus.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the suspension of military-related exports to Turkey. The fundamental importance of the uninterrupted application of the principle of the right of nations to self-determination in the regulation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was emphasized.
The Prime Minister of Canada expressed deep concern over the current situation and underscored the necessity of resolving the conflict through peaceful means.
