Stay Away from Publications that Discourage Society and Spread Panic: NSS
The National Security Service (NSS) has released a statement, which we present below:
“Emphasizing the need to show heightened care regarding the prevailing moods in society during these days, the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia once again urges to refrain from making publications in mass media and social networks that further discourage the public, evoke the emotions of families of our compatriots who have become eternal heroes in the defense of the homeland, and contain feelings of anxiety, panic, and similar sentiments.
At the same time, it is essential to consider that such publications can transmit their negative signals to broad segments of society, having undesirable psychological and moral consequences both on the front line and in the Armenian families that firmly support it from behind.
Moreover, during these military operations, it is necessary to widely cover the glorious feats of our brave soldiers and their best expressions of boundless patriotism, exclusively based on similar information available in official news channels.”
