No Mechanism for Ceasefire Control Being Developed, Says Maria Zakharova
The conflicting parties have not yet developed a mechanism for ceasefire control, despite its necessity. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a meeting with journalists. Regnum.ru reports.
Regarding Moscow's position on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Zakharova emphasized that an urgent meeting should be held between the military representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan to discuss the ceasefire control mechanism. “As far as we know, no such work is being conducted at the moment. We hope that a mechanism will be developed quickly,” Zakharova stated.
