The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, will meet today in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. A meeting with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group is also planned. This was reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center.
It is noteworthy that on October 9, Mnatsakanyan was again in Moscow, where he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan to discuss the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
After the meeting, the foreign ministers issued a statement, particularly announcing a ceasefire for humanitarian purposes starting from 12:00 on October 10, for the exchange of prisoners of war and other detained persons, as well as the bodies of the deceased, under the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross and in accordance with its standards.
It should be recalled that at approximately 07:15 on September 27, Azerbaijan launched an attack along the entire line of contact with Artsakh, using artillery and strike drones. Civilian settlements, including the capital Stepanakert, Martuni, Martakert, and Hadrut, were also shelled. The population was urged to take shelter. There have been more than a dozen civilian casualties and hundreds of casualties among military personnel.
