Only Recognition of Artsakh Will Halt Azerbaijan's Aggression, Foreign Ministry of Artsakh

The Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh has released a statement regarding Azerbaijan's violation of the humanitarian ceasefire.

We strongly condemn Azerbaijan's blatant violation of the agreements reached through the mediation of the Russian Federation regarding the ceasefire for the purpose of exchanging casualties and prisoners of war. It is particularly shocking that the trio alliance of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and international terrorists launched an attack immediately after the announcement from the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh about the cessation of fire within the framework of the humanitarian ceasefire.

Through its actions, Azerbaijan has once again demonstrated that it is a rogue state that fails to fulfill its obligations even for 5 minutes. Today's audacious attack convincingly shows that Azerbaijan considers negotiations solely as a cover to prepare for military actions.

In the current situation, the international community can stop this rogue state through only one means—by recognizing the Republic of Artsakh, which will provide the necessary legal mechanisms to guarantee peace and security for both our republic and the entire region.
