Security Enhanced at Russian Foreign Ministry Reception House Ahead of Nagorno-Karabakh Meeting
On Friday, security measures have been strengthened at the reception house of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Spiridonovka, where a meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia is set to take place, according to TASS.
A number of law enforcement officers are stationed in front of the reception house entrance. OMON officers have also been noted in the vicinity. In a conversation with a TASS correspondent, they declined to comment on the reasons for the enhanced security measures.
The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Jeyhun Bayramov and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, have already arrived in Moscow, TASS sources confirm. They have been invited to consultations regarding Nagorno-Karabakh by Russian President Vladimir Putin. A press conference may be held after the negotiations.
