Groups of 19 and 16 Left Behind Enemy Lines: Arzrun Hovhannisyan on Casualties
I cannot add anything to the official figures regarding the losses. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Defense, Arzrun Hovhannisyan, at a press conference today.
“If there are inaccuracies, they are clarified and officially announced,” he said. Hovhannisyan also added that it is impossible to exclude inaccuracies during wartime. “You saw that two groups, consisting of 19 and 16 people, could be considered missing since they remained behind the enemy lines, but after several days of fighting, they reappeared. This is a process that, unfortunately, is unavoidable during war,” he noted.
The Ministry of Defense representative emphasized that casualty data is updated one or two times daily and urged the public to follow official news releases.
