614 New COVID-19 Cases and 7 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia
As of October 9, Armenia has confirmed 614 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 55,087. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, six citizens have died from the virus in one day, raising the death toll to 1,011.
Additionally, one new case of death from other illnesses among patients infected with COVID-19 has been registered, bringing the total number of such cases to 303 as of October 9. In total, seven people died in a single day, increasing the total death count to 1,313.
On the same day, 216 people recovered, resulting in a total of 45,528 recoveries, while 8,246 patients are still under treatment (an increase of 391 in one day). A total of 3,312 tests were conducted in the past day, amounting to 319,791 tests overall to date.
