Zelensky Announces Kyiv Will Not Provide Military Assistance to Parties in Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict
Ukraine will not provide military aid to either side in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement during a press conference with journalists, as reported by TASS.
"This is not about Ukraine providing military assistance to any country," Zelensky stated.
The Ukrainian president also called for dialogue between the conflicting parties, Armenia and Azerbaijan, in order to de-escalate the conflict.
It is worth noting that today, Lyudmila Marchenko, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament from Zelensky's Servant of the People party, claimed that Ukraine is ready to support Azerbaijan on various platforms. However, Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov denied any statements regarding support for Baku in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and advised the statement's author to take medication.
