Police Urges to Refrain from Spontaneous Actions, Collaborate on Asylum Offers
The Police of the Republic of Armenia has released a statement informing the public that it will be consistent in clarifying the origin of initiatives and declarations made during these days, and will require mandatory agreement and coordination for all actions from citizens.
“In recent days, many citizens have offered refuge in their homes to the Armenians who have left their hometowns due to the military operations. This initiative is humanitarian and humane, but any good intention can turn into its opposite if we do not refrain from uncontrolled spontaneous actions and uncoordinated movements.
The Police of the Republic of Armenia calls on individuals to refrain from such spontaneous actions, disseminating various announcements, and to coordinate all initiatives with the relevant authorities. Keep in mind that we are under a state of martial law, and any emotional step can be exploited by the adversary for organizing provocations and misinformation.
Dear citizens, the Police of the Republic of Armenia will be vigilant in clarifying the origins of such initiatives and statements, requiring mandatory agreement and regulation from citizens for all actions,” the police statement reads.
