Dangerous Food Product Release Identified by the Food Safety Inspection Body
Recently, inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body's Vayots Dzor regional center conducted inspections at the "Golden Goat" closed joint-stock company, which specializes in dairy products, particularly cheese. During the oversight, samples were taken from the available product types and sent for laboratory examination.
The results indicated that samples of "Aitsi Dzor" and "Chanak" cheeses did not comply with the technical regulations of the Eurasian Customs Union regarding the criteria for E. coli and staphylococcus aureus levels.
The entire batches of "Aitsi Dzor" and "Chanak" cheeses, totaling 45 kg and 49 kg respectively, were removed from circulation and destroyed. The production of these specific products by "Golden Goat" has been suspended. A deadline has been set for the company to rectify the identified violations.
