Car Catches Fire Near Hrazdan City, Driver and Passenger Suffer Burns
On September 28, at 00:25, the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that a vehicle was on fire on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, near Hrazdan city.
Two firefighting units from the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that a gas leak occurred in a "Mercedes C230" (driver: Davit Sh., born in 1999) at the left side of the 46th km along the M-4 highway section of Yerevan-Sevan, which led to the fire that self-extinguished.
The driver and passenger Ashkhen M. (born in 2000) sustained minor burns to their faces and hands and were hospitalized at Hrazdan Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
