Atirau Football Players Honor the Memory of Levon Ghassaboglyan
The players of the Kazakh club Atirau paid tribute to the memory of Levon Ghassaboglyan, the former head coach of Akadamiya Ontustik, by stepping onto the pitch in jerseys featuring his photograph.
It is worth noting that Armenian footballer Artak Dashyan plays for Atirau, which is managed by Aram Voskanian.
Levon Ghassaboglyan passed away on August 8 of this year at the age of 34. He was the younger son of legendary Ararat player Samvel Ghassaboglyan, and a former youth player for the Pyunik club. Levon's playing career concluded at the Estonian club Narva Trans, with which he won the bronze medal in the Estonian football championship.
Since February 2020, he had been heading the team Akadamiya Ontustik, competing in the Kazakhstan First League.
