Authorities Keep Those Revealing Inner Workings in NSS 'Basements': 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper writes: 'Nikol Pashinyan is not fond of willful, independent, so-called “disobedient” individuals, but the Prime Minister is particularly intolerant of those who dare to leak information from the inner workings of the government.
We were informed that regular “cleansings” are conducted, with the NSS instructed to identify the authors of information leaks, and some are held in the NSS 'basements' for several days. Those who do not learn from this are subjected to severe consequences. Recently, several party members were identified and subsequently subjected to a sort of vetting process.
However, those who breached Pashinyan’s 'prohibition' have not been forgiven—they have been isolated from various engagements and removed from internal chats. In summary, it is much better for them to take bribes, embezzle budget funds, and engage in corrupt transactions than to leak information from within. Such punitive measures are not even employed by his clandestine and secretive party, the Dashnaktsutyun.'
