Israeli Representative Leaves UN Hall During Erdogan's Speech
A notable incident occurred between Turkey and Israel during the summit held in connection with the 75th anniversary of the UN. According to Ermenihaber, this event has received significant coverage in Turkish media.
During his speech at the summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did not miss the opportunity to criticize the Israeli authorities' Palestinian policy. He again accused Israel of 'occupying Palestinian lands and oppressing Palestinians' and added that Ankara would not support any agreement that does not take into account the interests of the Palestinian people.
Erdogan also called on various countries around the world to abandon the idea of relocating their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
In response, the Israeli representative dramatically left the assembly hall as a sign of protest during Erdogan's speech.
