Ministry of Defense Urges Not to Visit Military Units and Institutions During the Pandemic
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia continues to receive regular inquiries from media outlets and organizations regarding conducting interviews and filming in military units. Moreover, there have also been reported attempts to enter military units without prior approval. This was stated in a press release by the Ministry of Defense.
“We find it necessary to remind once again that due to the coronavirus pandemic, there are several restrictions in place within the Armed Forces, specifically, visits to military units and institutions are prohibited. This restriction also applies to media outlets. The Ministry of Defense once again urges not to apply for filming until the declared end of quarantine (January 11, 2021) and to approach the existing restrictions with understanding,” the Ministry’s statement reads.
