COVID-19 Outbreaks Confirmed in Two Communities of Artsakh; Schools to Remain Closed
The head of the Artsakh civil defense, Minister of Territorial Administration and Development, Jeirair Mirzoyan, accompanied by the head of the Martuni district administration, Ararat Melkumyan, visited the communities of Sos and Machkalashent in the Martuni region on September 17, where recent COVID-19 outbreaks have been identified.
Mirzoyan held meetings with local self-government bodies and a group of community residents, urging them to strictly adhere to anti-epidemic regulations. “Schools will remain closed for now, and harvesting activities must continue while observing anti-epidemic rules,” the civil defense chief stated, adding that currently, there is no need to impose restrictions on entry and exit.
