Unknown Man Shoots Police Officers in the US

In Los Angeles, California, an unknown individual opened fire on police officers seated in a patrol car. This was reported on Monday by Voice of America.

The suspect approached a vehicle parked near the Compton suburb’s metro station and shot through the window with a handgun from the passenger side before fleeing the scene. Police were able to call for assistance via radio.

The police stated, "The armed man approached the sheriff's deputies and opened fire unpredictably without warning." Two injured officers have undergone surgery.

Protesters gathered near the hospital shouting, "We hope they die."

“Animals that need to be hit with full force: if they die, the murderer must face a speedy trial and be executed. Only then can this be stopped,” President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter.
