Citizens Seeking to Travel to Russia Protest in Front of Government
Today, citizens wishing to travel to Russia are holding a protest in front of the Government, demanding the opening of borders. They are also calling for the Prime Minister to come down and meet with them to explain the current status of negotiations with Russia.
“We met with the Foreign Minister, but his response was not satisfactory, which is unacceptable. Negotiate with Russia, let them accept us. We see that the coronavirus data has significantly decreased, which allows Armenian citizens to enter Russia. We are a member of the EAEU, which has advantages for movement,” said one of the protesters.
He also pointed out that relevant authorities have not provided clear answers. “I feel they are simply not negotiating. And now you are pushing everyone toward suicide.”
