Belarus Opposition Begins Forming Self-Defense Units
The Belarusian opposition has begun to form self-defense units. Residents of the country are urged to take control of residential buildings and neighborhoods.
This was reported by pravda.ru, noting that encrypted Telegram channels will be used for the coordination of these units.
Self-defense units are expected to maintain order during rallies and protests. The opposition and their supporters have been holding demonstrations almost daily since the elections on August 9, when incumbent President Alexander Lukashenko was declared the winner.
