108 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia as of September 8
As of September 8, Armenia has confirmed 108 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 44,953.
According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, three citizens have died from the virus in one day, raising the death toll to 903.
Additionally, there has been one case of death from another illness among patients infected with coronavirus reported in a single day. As of September 8, the total number of such deaths has reached 276.
In total, four people have died in one day, bringing the overall death toll to 1,179.
On that day, 471 individuals recovered, raising the total number of recoveries to 40,592. There are currently 3,182 active cases, a decrease of 367 from the previous day.
A total of 221,041 tests were conducted in one day, and overall, 1,864 tests have been performed to date.
