Video: ‘Luminous Armenia’ MPs Participated in Illegal Incursion: ‘Lydian Armenia’
‘Lydian Armenia’ has made a new statement addressing members of the ‘Luminous Armenia’ faction. The statement says:
‘Lydian Armenia’ has already reported that during the night, a group, allegedly acting under the influence of alcohol, illegally invaded the Amulsar area, throwing stones and issuing threats and insults toward the local residents and ‘Lydian’ employees.
On the previous day, MPs from LHK had visited members of this group. It is unclear what promises the lawmakers made to the members of this unlawful group, but that same night, the group launched an attack.
Overall, we assess that the irresponsible behavior of this group, which has been keeping the community in an atmosphere of fear for two years, is a result of not only the tolerance of the relevant authorities but also the behavior of representatives from the legislative body that, in one way or another, encourage this illegality.
Some MPs have been publicly encouraging this illegality for two years, indirectly promising the members of this criminal group impunity.
It may be significant that the members of the group launched an attack right after their meeting with the MPs the night before, threatening the residents in the area.
Today, LHK MP Ani Samsonyan questioned the legality of the ‘Lydian’ guards filming their ‘meeting.’
We regret that the representatives of the legislative body did not even find it necessary to ascertain before the visit that they were meeting with the offenders in the territory legally owned by ‘Lydian,’ effectively becoming participants in the illegal incursion.
In that territory, ‘Lydian’ can film and disseminate footage of the illegal actions of the invaded individuals.
In the video, the ‘negotiations’ of LHK MPs with the offenders are shown, followed by the attack from the offenders.
We believe that the MPs encouraging illegal activity bear responsibility for any assaults committed by this group against the community residents.
