In the past 100 days, the Government of the Republic of Artsakh has acquired 4 Ural fire-fighting vehicles and one fire truck for state needs. During this time, however, through individual connections, benefactors have also acquired and donated additional vehicles that have been provided to the relevant departments.
This was announced by the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page, detailing the number of vehicles by department.
“During my more than 100 days in office, the Government of the Republic of Artsakh has purchased 4 Ural fire-fighting vehicles and one fire truck. Naturally, these purchases were made for the Emergency Situations Service of the Republic of Artsakh. We have not bought other vehicles. However, during this time, benefactors have acquired and donated the following:
- 14 vehicles for the National Security Service
- 4 vehicles for the Police
- 4 vehicles for the Emergency Situations Service
The Government of Armenia has donated 7 ambulances and 3 reanimobiles to the Ministry of Health of Artsakh.
I would like to remind you that I also received my two official vehicles (Toyota LC 200 and an electric vehicle) from benefactors. Our adopted approach to spend state funds efficiently and economically will be our main guideline over the next 5 years, and we will periodically present reports to the public on this matter,” the president wrote.
