Photos: French Ambassador Congratulates Gyumri on Its Celebration in Armenian and French, Shares Colorful Images
The French Ambassador to Armenia, Jonathan Lacote, congratulated Gyumri on its celebration in both Armenian and French on Facebook, sharing photos that symbolize the city.
The ambassador wished a joyful celebration to Gyumri and its residents, stating: "Gyumri, a symbol of the resilience of the Armenian people, today serves as a testament to the vitality of Armenia. The city's exceptional historical heritage and the dynamism of its people make Gyumri a cultural capital," Lacote wrote.
He also expressed that the French embassy in Armenia is proud to be involved in the revitalization of Gyumri and to support the development of French culture and language in the city, alongside Gyumri University, French language programs at schools N10 and N45, SPFA Armenia, and KASA centers.
“Let's not forget the city’s restaurateurs and the Tiramayr Armenia Educational Complex, with whom we organized the 'Goût de France' gastronomic event in 2019. Congratulations on the celebration, Gyumri,” the ambassador concluded.
