The Opinion of the Artsakh President on the April War Significantly Contradicts David Tonoyan's Viewpoint: "Fact"
The newspaper "Fact" writes: "The topic of the April war has been one of the primary issues on the Armenian public agenda in recent months. Recently, in the National Assembly, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, David Tonoyan, stated that 'the April military operations ended with certain territorial losses, but there was no change in the geopolitical situation.' Days after Tonoyan's statement, a diametrically opposed viewpoint was expressed by the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, in Stepanakert, saying: 'The positions that have been taken have been taken. There is no concept of non-strategic positions.'"
According to information from the "Fact" newspaper, both political and expert circles find it quite strange that the statements of key figures from two countries regarding a specific security-related event contradict each other. Many believe that the recent statement made in Stepanakert clearly contradicts the Minister of Defense's viewpoint.
