Srbouhi Galyan Appointed Deputy Attorney General of Armenia

As previously reported, following the enactment of the law on the confiscation of illegally obtained assets, the process of filling positions for prosecutors executing the prescribed functions and the deputy coordinating the functions related to the confiscation of illegally obtained assets by the Attorney General of Armenia has commenced.

In this context, by the order of the Attorney General of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, Srbouhi Galyan has been appointed to the position of Deputy Attorney General overseeing the functions related to the confiscation of illegally obtained assets.

As part of the process of filling candidate lists for the aforementioned positions, those candidates recommended positively by the qualification commission under the Attorney General were included in the corresponding lists of candidates for prosecutors. The candidates for prosecutors underwent a two-month appropriate training at the Academy of Justice of Armenia.

These courses have already concluded, and as planned, appointments will also be made in the coming days during the first week of September for the positions of prosecutors in the subdivision endowed with functionalities related to the confiscation of illegally obtained assets by the Attorney General of Armenia.
