One of the Deceased in the Explosion at the ‘Proshyan Brandy Factory’ is the Branch Director
In an explosion that occurred today at the ‘Proshyan Brandy Factory’ in the village of Armavir, one of the deceased is the director of the branch. This was stated by the owner of the factory, Armen Gasparyan, in a conversation with reporters.
“The director of the contracting company that was conducting welding work has also died,” noted Armen Gasparyan.
Regarding those injured in the explosion, he mentioned that they have been transferred to the Burn Treatment Center in Yerevan and that they have sustained medium-degree burns.
The factory is currently not operational. “We have disconnected the factory from the power supply. The grapes were in the process of being harvested, but now everything has been halted, and we have moved the grapes to our other branch. We have informed the suppliers to take them to the other branch so they do not spoil,” added Armen Gasparyan.
