Change in Artsakh Military Commissar: Jalal Harutyunyan Makes Appointments
The commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan, held a service consultation on August 28 with the participation of deputy commanders of the army, heads of staff divisions, and services. This was reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.
During the consultation, among other issues discussed pertaining to current and upcoming tasks of significant importance to the army, orders were presented to the army command regarding personnel changes in the system of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense. According to these orders, the Artsakh military commissar, Colonel Mkhitar Eduardi Avsharyan, was relieved of his position due to an appointment to another role within the system, and Colonel Sergey Vladimiri Arstamyan was appointed as the new military commissar. Previously, he held the position of head of the social protection division of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.
The head of the republic's military agency expressed gratitude to Colonel Avsharyan for his effective service and expressed confidence that under Colonel Arstamyan's leadership, the system will achieve new successes in the coming years.
