Photos: The True Face of Azerbaijan
Military expert and Turkologist Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page:
“Recently, the dictator of Baku gave a major interview in a settlement built for refugees and claimed that the issue of refugees' living conditions has been resolved in Azerbaijan. He even boasted that better housing will be built in the 'liberated Artsakh' where refugees will go to live.”
“While Aliyev is busy presenting desires as reality, real events are unfolding in Baku. Refugees have blocked the road in front of the State Committee for Refugees and Displaced Persons, as they have no other option left. They have no place to live, and those who do live in emergency buildings lacking basic living conditions.”
“The police of Baku, using brute force against women and children, removed the protesters and opened the road. Several women participants in the protest suffered bodily injuries. This is the true face of Azerbaijan…”
