Consultation in the Government: Mechanisms for Universal Income Declaration Discussed
The Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, hosted a consultation in the government today where the implementation of a universal income declaration system for individuals was discussed. The meeting included leaders of relevant state bodies, members of the parliamentary committees, and representatives from the Prime Minister's office.
The discussion revolved around the mechanisms for organizing the universal declaration process. Topics addressed included an effective tax model, types of income subject to taxation, the scope of declarants, administrative tools, and other related issues. Various proposals and comments were presented during the exchange of ideas.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of fostering a declaration culture, highlighting that the goal of this reform is to shape a pro-state mindset and civic responsibility. The Prime Minister instructed to continue working on the development of comprehensive implementation mechanisms for the declaration based on the results of the discussion and to present recommendations.
