Previously, Shushan Stepanyan reported that on August 22, around 19:30, serviceman Gurgen Alaverdyan, who went to check the combat post, got disoriented due to severely adverse weather conditions and went missing.

It is worth noting that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has announced that "the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have captured RA Armed Forces Senior Lieutenant Gurgen Alaverdyan."
