Young Woman Found Strangled Near Television Tower

On August 17, a horrific incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 3:20 PM, the central police division received a report that a body was discovered in a ravine adjacent to the television tower, on Hovsepian Street in the Norq Marash administrative district, as reported by shamshyan.com.

Police and investigators found the body of a woman aged 20-25, who had been strangled. A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative division of the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts under Part 1 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.

The police and the investigative division are working to determine the identity of the deceased and are undertaking the necessary operational-search and investigative measures to uncover the crime.
