22-Year-Old Male Drowns in Goghtanik
On August 16, at 18:13, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that a citizen had drowned in the area of a waterfall in the village of Goghtanik, and requested the assistance of rescuers.
A firefighting unit from the Regional Rescue Department of the Emergency Situations Ministry in Vayots Dzor Province, along with an operational group from the Special Operations Unit for Rescue Activities, and a diver, were dispatched to the scene.
The diver recovered the body of Levan A. (born in 1998) from the river. Rescuers then brought the body to an ambulance.
